Whoa. The Asatte no Houkou tag has only 5 posts. So I’m adding one. Because it deserves more love.
I really like this series. I only found it by searching for series where someone’s turned into a child, but it’s nice.
I mean, of course there are many, many stereotypes in it, and some stuff is just plain weird, but Shouko is a great character, not at all the usual anime type. She’s older and she’s not lovable right away; rather, she seems like a bad person. But she’s a really believable, realistic character.
I like how people don’t just agree that “yeah, they changed ages”, but there’s more muddle and need for convincing. I like how it’s slow-paced and how many things aren’t just taken for granted like tends to happen in many other stories.
It’s not a really awesome anime, but it’s a good one. Do watch it.
